Sun Safety Tips

DID YOU KNOW 80% OF AGING COMES FROM THE SUN ALONE?

Sun Safety education is very important. There are many aspects of safety and we are sharing a few with you.

• If you shadow is shorter than you are, seek shade.

• Wear sun-protective clothing.

• Apply a broad-spectrum, water-resistance sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.

• Use sunscreen even on cloudy days.

• Don’t forget to apply sunscreen to tops of feet, neck, ears, and the top of your head.

• Re-apply sunscreen every two hours, or after swimming or sweating.

• Water, snow and sand increase your chance of sunburn, so protect yourself.

• Avoid tanning beds.

• Perform regular skin exams and see a board-certified dermatologist if you notice anything abnormal.
